Week 2 of 8

Improv 101 – Fundamentals of Improv

Explore the basic elements of Improv in our introductory course. Agreement, listening, team work, and honest choices are emphasized as you learn and practice the core principles of a good Improv scene. We focus on various games and exercises that encourage trust, communication, character development, and making your scene partner look good.

8 Week Course – Classes meet once a week

Maximum number of students for this class is 12. Students must be 18 years of age or older.

Day/Time: Wednesdays, 7:00pm – 9:30pm Starting October 5, 2016

InstructorMichael Vietinghoff

Mike has been studying, performing and teaching improv for almost 15 years. He is one of the founding members of Unscrewed Theater and performs weekly with Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed: Tucson’s premier improv troupe. He firmly believes that the skills you learn in improv are directly applicable to everyday life as well!

Unscrewed Theater is located at 3244 E. Speedway Blvd. Tucson, AZ 85716 (across from The Loft Cinema, next to Fronimo’s). Parking and entrance are located in the rear of the building. Turn in to the Walgreen’s parking lot and go to the left around the building.
