2023 Improv BloxShop Series

Unscrewed Theater’s Training Center is excited to announce a series of Improv BloxShops for 2023. One topic each month from July through December for a one-day three-hour workshop with our fabulous instructors.

Take one, take two, take them all! It’ll be a spectacular time.

Experience levels and prerequisties vary.

Workshops are all on Sundays from noon – 3pm.

Improv BloxShop: Talk to the Hand

July 23

Ready to take your improv skills to a whole new place? Learn the art of mixing improv with puppetry!

Puppets will be provided for this workshop. Two additional spots available for students able to bring their own puppets.

Improv BloxShop: Advanced Use of Spacework

September 17

Prepare to learn how to creatively use spacework to maximum effect in improvised scenes. You’ll practice the art of precisely combining emotion and intent in spacework, while valuing deliberate non-verbal communication, silence, and timing.

Improv BloxShop: Improv for Cosplay & Gaming

Learn improv skills to enhance your cosplay or gaming life. Whether you run games or just enjoy the role-playing experience, we’ll teach you techniques for keeping the game alive, dynamic, and fun no matter what unexpected turns happen. If you’re a cosplayer or LARPer, we’ll teach you skills to embody and enhance your character.
